Antwerpen

Today I went to Antwerpen (Antwerp in Engles!). There were showers but the weather was much nicer today compared to yesterday in Gent. The train station was huge, it was on about 4 different levels

I walked down to the water and looked at the Steen (castle in Engels!) I walked up the ramp but could not go in as the museum was closed.

I also looked around the cathedral and was surprised that it had a complete spire because most aren't over here or thats the impression I get. The cathedral was lovely and massive with lots of little chapels inside for the different guilds which were formed after the spanish reign or something. I did loose the plot during the audio tour, just like what is happening with the government now out here or lack of it! I then walked around the historisch centrum and the grot market. I have to say that I prefer Antwerpen as city over Gent but they are both very nice cities.
