Second week on site!

Today was the start of my second week on site and my stay in Belgium.
Saturday I spent the day inside as the weather was awful and it was a chance to rest my aching muscles! Sunday I went to Brussles and the weather was lovely and sunny. We went for a coffee or hot chocolate in the King of Spain "Roi d'espana" pub. I went here at aged 5 and wanted a balloon which turned out to be pigs bladder which are still there along with the stuffed horse :D. After that we went for a look around and saw the peeing manikin and the guy you are meant to stroke and then had a waffle with chocolate on :D On the way back we went to an africa thing at the local stall and I got told that it was a typical Belgium Fundraiser- Food, beer and a tombola!

Today on site I finished off the burial I was originally working but it turned out to be a load of random bones but I did find nearby the top of a cranium so I started to investigat it further. It turned out to be a burial :D However this person has lost there legs apart from the top of the left femor. Tomorrow it will be lifted and then I will move on to another load of bones! Which will hopefully turn out to be a burial! We also had excitment on site. We had 2 belgian news crews in to film what we are doing and I got filmed too :D. I couldn't remember the names of the channels so couldn't watch the news. Will hunt on youtube at some point and see if is on there.
