Today the multiple burial was excavated, I excavated the 7th skeleton which was my 10th :D I worked with Susan (the canadian girl) on it. However, on the way to the site today it started to rain and by the time I got the paper work out it through it down. As a result I covered the form in a plastic bag and hid in one of the tents to fill in the form. When having to describe the skeleton I would run to have a look and then run back before I forgot it all! I still got my ulna and radius descriptions wrong, how I managed it correctly on the juvenile I will never know!
After lunch I went into the tent with Charlotte and helped her look for a burial in there as there were none left for me to do in the area everyone was in (we're moving to a new area tomorrow). It was hot in the tent so much so I was in 3 layers and I started with 6 layers on!
When Katrien was looking around the area we were all in trying to find something for Susan and myself to dig each. There was one grave and Katrien asked who was excavating to which I said it was one of the students with out realising she asked in Nederlands! So after 3 weeks of being here I am beginning to understand the language slowly but still have to respond in English!
